An incredible double rainbow photographed from the deck at our house last night during a rain shower; I was fascinated to watch its progress. And I pondered ... where was that pot of gold? Summer arrives at Serendipity Vineyard
The peonies popped, the roses bloomed, the shoots continue to grow longer and are almost flowering with the promise of a bountiful vintage in store.

We have had an unsettled Spring so far with the season being about two weeks behind normal. A devastating frost in early November tested the area as a whole. Fortunately for us, most of the vineyard is planted on slopes so we were realtively unscathed except for some damage where the cold air pooled on the flats at the bottom of the hill.
